We present the wonderful Ligurian cuisine which consists of the traditional dishes of Liguria, the region that includes ingredients linked both to local production (such as preboggion, mixture of wild herbs) and imports from areas with which the centuries, the Ligurian Intensive contacts have taken (such as pecorino, one of the pesto ingredients).

To summarize we can say that the cuisine of Liguria, was distinguished for six major elements: spontaneous wild herbs (marjoram, sage, rosemary, bay leaf, thyme, etc.); herbs from the home, and the first fruits of the forest (basil from Pra, tomato “beef heart”, zucchini trumpets, onions, Genoese quarantine potatoes, eggplant, asparagus and artichokes, mushrooms, truffle of the Val Bormida, etc.); HotelCastello Brown is a house museum located high above the harbor of Portofino, Italy. The castle’s site is well suited for harbor defence, and appears to have been so used since the 15th century.
