Ideas for an Autumn wedding
The inspiration for today’s post is seasonal: I thought I would devote another article to autumn before winter comes (for the record, I can not wait to start with the ideas for the coldest season).
Decorations
Autumn gives us the chance to indulge in simple and cheap themed decorations. Use pumpkins, dry leaves, pine cones, berries and acorns to create truly impressive decorations.
Leaves in place of petals
I love autumn leaves…so colorful! Do not simply default them to the role of decoration; You use them to replace traditional and more expensive petals to decorate the church, to fill the bridesmaid’s basket or even as an original alternative to the rice launch.
Autumn Bouquet
Choose warm and rich colors: the roses are especially good in shades of red, orange, yellow and peach, but calle, lilies, tulips, gerberas and sunflowers are also great options for flowers. Alternatively, I think a beautiful bouquet of lavender and wheat ears is perfect.
Heat for the guests
The autumn cold helps to create an intimate and collected atmosphere, so be sure to heat it with profuse candles or a romantic bonfire. For the bride, an unusual choice, but I love a cardigan, which is surprisingly good on the white dress. And for your other guests, make shawls and scarves available.
Comfort food
Hot foods and drinks are ideal for an autumn wedding. In place of the classic cake, I suggest you serve warm tarts or caramel apples to add to the dessert buffet. Another idea? A corner bar, with coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
Here, after all these pictures (especially the tarts!) I think it would be perfect to have a wedding in the fall! And you? I know some readers are organizing an autumn wedding! Contact me to plan your perfect autumn wedding!
