This 15th century residence lays on the green hills between Fiesole and Florence, approximately 15 minutes from Florence and 5 minutes from Fiesole. Everything is accessible by foot, bus, or taxi.
Venue description
The origins of this prestigious property date back to the 15th century. Its enormous estate covers an area of nearly 300 hectares and is located on the beautiful green hills overlooking Florence. The property includes a Villa, which is the ideal place for the celebration of weddings and receptions, and a Farmhouse with accommodations, where organic olive oil is also produced.
Wedding ceremony
Protestant, Jewish and Symbolic Wedding ceremonies can be held in the Italian Oak garden, in the private Chapel of the Villa or in the inside halls. Civil wedding ceremonies at Palazzo Vecchio in Florence or in Fiesole. Catholic ceremonies can be celebrated at a nearby church in the village of Maiano, at approximately 1 minute walk from the Villa (for large groups). The private Chapel of the villa is also available (approximately 20/30 seats).
Wedding banquets
The areas of the Villa available for banquets are: all the interiors on the ground floor, the garden with terrace over Florence, the Italian garden (on request).
Internal rooms can accommodate up to 250 people while the areas outside can hold up to 300 guests. The largest hall is the Tapestry Hall that can accommodate up to 110 guests.
- Red Hall (Sala Rossa): approx. 45/50 guests.
- Dining Hall: approx. 45/50 guests.
- Carriage Hall: approx. 60 guests.
- Billiard Hall: a room connecting the outdoor area to the Sala Arazzi, max 20 guests, two tables of 10 each.
All rooms have their original furniture. Outdoor areas: beautiful large garden with an amazing panoramic terrace with the view of Florence. On request the Italian and Oak gardens are available for welcome cocktails.
Cuisine
Your Wedding reception will be catered. We suggest you opt for Italian cuisine with touches of Tuscan tradition. Excellent service. Customized menus will be draft according to spouses specifications.
Music entertainment
Music with dancing is allowed outside the villa on the panoramic terrace until 24.00. Dancing is allowed on the terrace, not on the lawn. Inside, music and dancing can take place in the Tapestry Hall and Carriage Hall till 1:30am.
Accommodation
The Farmhouse complex is of 12 apartments of different sizes with every comfort for a relaxing stay. They are all located in the estate, just a few steps away from the Villa. The whole estate can accommodate up to 60 people. Within the gardens of the Farmhouse there is a lovely swimming pool with amazing panoramic views over the Tuscan hills, where guests can relax and enjoy their stay. A nice restaurant is also available for guests. Trekking and bike paths, internet access are available too.
